Kaløvig Strandgård Camping is a 4-star campsite on Djursland. We are close to Mols Bjerge, Aarhus, Ebeltoft and Randers. Here you have every opportunity to have a long and relaxing holiday in your caravan and still have the opportunity to go on excursions to attractions or the nearby towns.
At the campsite, we also have good opportunities for activities that you, as a guest, can use.

Kaløvig Strandgård Camping has a fantastic pool, it is the perfect place to spend time with the family. In the children’s pool, the little ones can play and splash around in the water. For older children and adults, there is a larger and slightly deeper pool, where you can also enjoy the water and have fun. Of course, there is also the opportunity to relax and enjoy the sun on the sun loungers around the pool. Our pool area is a very popular place among the guests at Kaløvig Strandgård Camping. Here you get a feeling of being in the south. We call it Djursland’s Mallorca.
Our lovely cafe is also right outside, so you can easily pick up cool drinks or sit down on the terrace and order some delicious food. All this contributes to a super cozy atmosphere right in the heart of the square.
Remember that children under the age of 9 must never bathe without the supervision of an adult!
Cozy cafe
In the campsite’s café, you can buy delicious freshly prepared food, e.g. sandwich, burger and today’s salad with our homemade dressings and aioli. Some days we also make the dish of the day. For drinks, we can mention Kalø iced coffee, Hancock draft beer, wine and soft drinks, among others. from Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, a local brewery here in Djursland. Some days we also serve cocktails.
The cafe is open every day in high season and on weekends in season B. Season C, the kitchen is open when we announce it. However, we always have coffee and hot cocoa in the pot, and you can order breakfast bread almost every day.
Lots of experiences
An additional advantage of our location here on Djursland is that all year round there is the opportunity to have a lot of experiences. Christmas in the Old Town in Aarhus, Christmas in Ree Park, Gammel Estrup and Djurs Sommerland in the summer. So regardless of whether you prefer a cabin or your own caravan, the campsite is so centrally located here on Djursland that you have all options nearby.
NOTE: The campsite is off-road and therefore unfortunately not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Season A:
High season: This covers bank holidays and school summer holidays. Here, we know from experience that we tend to be very busy, and it will therefore be an advantage to book well in advance.
Season B:
When the camping season opens quietly after winter and starts again on 15 March and the periods between public holidays and school holidays. Until Sunday in week 42.
Season C:
From Sunday in week 42 until 15/3, when the winter season takes over. We are still open here, albeit with reduced opening hours, and sporadically open in the cafe. However, you can also buy freshly baked breakfast bread here almost every day. They just have to be ordered the day before. All prices are incl. VAT (subject to price changes).
